Bellarine Peninsula
The Bellarine Peninsula begins in Geelong with Melbourne only 75 km to the north east. This pretty peninsula sits at Port Phillip's western entrance and is connected to nearby Mornington Peninsula by car ferry. The area has a number of scenic resort towns such as Portarlington, Ocean Grove, Queenscliff & St Leonards that offer all types of water sports and some excellent golf courses. The Peninsula is also home to a number of fine cool-climate vineyards & wineries and for excellent coastal views, visit Scotchmans Hill, near Drysdale.
