Clare Valley

Clare Valley is a picturesque cool-climate wine producing region that spans 35 km across many historic towns and villages. Located about 120 km north of Adelaide, wineries here range from small boutique style to the larger well known names with the first vines planted in 1840s. Farming and mining were also established at this time and the old copper mining sites at Burra are amongst the country’s most important historic industrial locations.
