Coral Coast - WA
The Coral Coast begins at Cervantes (245 km north of Perth) where the unique Pinnacle rock formations are found and extends north to Exmouth (1 260 km north of Perth) home of the world renowned Ningaloo Reef. The area offers great fishing and diving possibilities the year round with spectacular coral reefs, pristine beaches and amazing marine life. Just over half way up the coast near Denham (853 km north of Perth), watch the feeding of the wild bottlenose dolphins and meet sea lions, dugongs and manta rays at Monkey Mia. Visit Kalbarri NP, Francois Peron NP, Kennedy Range NP, Cape Range NP and offshore Ningaloo Marine Park stretching over 260 km. Important towns/cities in this region include Geraldton, Kalbarri, Carnarvon and Exmouth.
