Macedon Ranges & Daylesford Vic
Macedon Ranges are located just 60 km north of Melbourne with Daylesford as the region's largest centre. This area historically dates back to where wealthy Melburnians escaped the high summer temperatures as is evident by the number of magnificent mansions and gardens located in the townships of Macedon and Mount Macedon. A number of these private gardens are open to the public and there are also many local wineries in the area. Macedon Regional Park offers superb district views, lovely bushwalking trails and a rich diversity in flora & fauna.
