Comments[0] Qld Islands - Queensland

Queensland Islands

Queensland Islands number 1 955 sitting offshore of the state's almost 7 000 km of coastline. The islands are divided into sub sections such as the Brisbane area, Fraser Island, Southern Reef Islands, Whitsunday Islands and Tropical North Islands. These last three groups are found within the Great Barrier Reef region and many are idyllic holiday resort destinations. Many offer luxury accommodation, whilst others cater specifically for families, backpackers, singles etc.

Other Qld Islands:

There are literally hundreds of islands and islets off Queenslands east coast. Travelling south from Cape York these include Eagle, Timana, Coolah, Great Palm, Gloucester, Border, Haslewood, Mansell, Blacksmith, Goldsmith, St Bees, Curtis, St Helena, Lamb, Russell and Sovereign.
