Riverland SA

The Riverland is a lovely region located about 170 km n-e of Adelaide. It is also known as Big River Country encompassing the mighty Murray River which flows south through Blanchetown and further south to Murray Bridge. The Riverland is a prosperous area growing half of the state’s grapes and 90% of its citrus and stone fruits. The main towns here are Renmark, Berri, Loxton, Barmera and Waikerie.  Recreational sports and activities such as houseboating, water skiing and golf are very popular.
