Townsville Region Qld

The Townsville region is also known as the Mid Tropics. It was established in 1860s and to this day, sugar and cattle remain major industries together with tourism. The miles of sandy beaches, excellent climate, rainforest pockets, magnificent hinterland and some of Qld’s best preserved historic towns are major tourist drawcards.
